This protective over hat is designed for workers and riders who require additional sun shielding while wearing head protection. It is built to fit securely over a variety of headgear, including bike helmets, horse riding helmets, and standard hard hats. To ensure compatibility with site safety gear, the design includes dedicated openings for earmuffs or other helmet-mounted accessories. For increased airflow, the hat features a releasable rear panel. This specific micro mesh version includes a central mesh section, allowing it to align with the ventilation slots found on many hard hats. Providing a high level of UV defence, the garment is classified under AS/NZS 4399:2019 for sun protective clothing. This product is supplied in retail headercard packaging.
