Description and applications
This respirator is designed for single-use protection in dusty or particulate-heavy settings. It features a conical shape that contours to the face for a secure seal. The built-in valve allows exhaled air to escape easily, reducing heat and moisture buildup during extended wear. Twin elastic straps hold the mask firmly in place without causing discomfort. A pre-moulded nose bridge helps maintain a close fit and reduces the chance of unfiltered air entering. The product is intended for use in environments where airborne particles are generated through mechanical or thermal processes.
It provides protection against fine dust, fumes and mists produced during tasks such as grinding, sanding or cutting materials. The P2 classification means it filters at least 94% of airborne particles, including those that may be harmful when inhaled. It is not suitable for gases, vapours or oxygen-deficient atmospheres. The valve does not compromise filtration efficiency; it only improves comfort during exhalation. Users should ensure a proper fit before entering a hazardous area. The mask is not reusable and should be discarded after use or if damaged.
Common applications include workshops, construction sites, farms and maintenance facilities where dust is prevalent. It is also used in forestry, landscaping and mining operations where particulate exposure is a risk. Municipal workers and those in oil and gas support roles may use it during routine tasks involving dust generation. The product meets the requirements of AS/NZS 1716 for respiratory protective devices. Each box contains ten masks, and cartons hold twelve boxes for bulk storage. The shelf life is three years from the date of manufacture when stored in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
