P2/P3 Pancake Filter Pair

This product consists of a pair of low-profile filter cartridges engineered for use in demanding environments where airborne particulates are present. The flexible design allows the filters to sit close to the face, enabling compatibility with most welding helmets and face shields without interference. Each cartridge is constructed to meet the performance requirements of AS/NZS 1716:2012 for respiratory protection. The filters are intended for use with specific half and full face mask models as outlined in the approval documentation.

The filters provide protection against a range of airborne hazards including fine dusts, liquid mists and metal fumes commonly generated during welding, grinding and sanding operations. Their efficiency is influenced by factors such as the user’s breathing rate, the concentration and nature of the contaminant, duration of exposure and ambient conditions like temperature and humidity. Once saturated or compromised, the filter may allow trace contaminants to pass through, which could be noticed by smell, taste or respiratory irritation. Immediate replacement is advised if any of these signs are detected.

Designed for practicality and comfort, the pancake shape minimises bulk while maintaining effective filtration capacity. The product is supplied in packs containing ten pairs, ensuring readiness for regular replacement cycles. It is not intended for use with gases or vapours unless specifically rated for such contaminants, which is not indicated in the approved scope. Proper fit and seal of the mask are essential to ensure the filter performs as designed.
