Daily use is straightforward: press the purge valve to equalise pressure after altitude or temperature changes, then snap the double-throw latches for a watertight seal. The automatic pressure equalisation valve prevents vacuum lock so the lid opens easily after a cold night in the ute tray. Inside, the pick-and-pluck foam can be shaped around a multimeter, two-way radio or spare battery pack, stopping items from rattling during transit over rough access roads. A stainless-steel padlock hasp adds security when the case is left unattended on site.
