The Pelican 1485 Air case removes that uncertainty with a watertight, crushproof shell that meets airline carry-on limits while keeping dust, water and impact away from the kit inside. Its polymer construction cuts weight compared with traditional models, so the allowance goes to payload rather than the box itself.

The automatic pressure-equalisation valve lets the case breathe during altitude changes without letting moisture in, while the double-throw latches stay shut under vibration but open with one hand. Stainless-steel padlock hasps accept TSA locks for security screening, and the moulded handle balances the load whether you are sprinting through a terminal or loading a ute tray. Inside, the empty cavity lets you cut custom foam or run padded dividers to suit cameras, lenses, drones or test instruments.

This protective case is moulded from lightweight HPX resin with an O-ring seal and stainless hardware. The no-foam configuration ships ready for custom interior work.
