Field technicians and survey crews rely on the Pelican 1499C computer insert tray to keep laptops and tablets immobilised during transport. The tray slots into a compatible pelican case and creates a dedicated compartment that stops devices shifting when the case is loaded onto a ute tray or thrown into a site office. It turns a standard protective case into a mobile workstation that survives the trip from depot to dig site.
The moulded cavity cradles the device while the lid foam presses down on top, locking the unit in place without straps or Velcro that wear out. Technicians can open the case, lift the laptop out, and start logging data or reviewing plans without unpacking cables or accessories stored underneath. The tray also separates sensitive electronics from tools, mud, or water ingress that might collect at the bottom of a hard case during wet weather jobs.
Compatible with Pelican 1499 case models. Moulded polymer construction. Fits standard laptop sizes.
