The Pelican 1640 in Desert Tan is a wheeled protector case built to move heavy, sensitive kit across rough ground. Its moulded polymer shell seals out water, dust and impact, while the integrated wheels and extendable handle let one person shift a loaded unit without strain. This pelican case sits in the Protector range, recognised for the tight O-ring seal and automatic pressure equalisation valve that keeps the interior stable during altitude or temperature changes.

Inside, the supplied foam set includes a convoluted lid layer and pick-and-pluck blocks that you shape around each item. Cameras, lenses, drones, survey instruments or test gear lock into custom cavities so nothing shifts when the case is rolled over gravel, lifted into a ute tray or stacked on a pallet. The double-throw latches open with a gloved hand and stay shut under vibration, while stainless-steel padlock points allow security on shared sites or in transit. Moulded ribs on the lid and base let multiple units stack securely without sliding.
