The Pelican 1740 Protector case solves that problem with a watertight, crushproof shell built for daily transport in mining, defence, survey and broadcast operations. It belongs in the back of a ute or on a helicopter skid where gear takes a beating.

This hard case rides on integrated wheels with a retractable extension handle, so a single operator can shift a full load without strain. The automatic pressure equalisation valve balances internal pressure after altitude or temperature shifts while keeping water and dust out. Inside, the Pick N Pluck foam lets you cut custom cavities for each item , camera bodies, lenses, drones, calibration tools or comms gear , so nothing shifts during transit. Stainless steel padlock hasps accept security locks for chain-of-custody requirements, and the double-throw latches stay shut under vibration. The moulded-in ribs add stacking strength when cases are palletised for freight.
