The HPX resin shell drops significant weight compared to standard polymer bodies, yet the double-throw latches still lock down with a positive click and the polymer o-ring holds a watertight seal when the ramp gets wet. An automatic pressure equalisation valve balances internal pressure during climb and descent so the lid never vacuum-locks at altitude. Inside, the empty cavity accepts custom foam or padded dividers, letting a camera operator nest bodies, lenses and drones or a surveyor secure a total station and batteries without loose items shifting under vibration.

Moulded-in hasp holes accept padlocks for chain-of-custody security and the stainless steel hardware resists corrosion on coastal tarmacs. The integrated wheels and retractable handle track smoothly over jet-bridge gaps.
