Description and applications
On a dim plant floor, inside a switch room, or along a pipeline corridor at night, a reliable hand-held beam is essential for safe movement and close-up inspection. The Pelican 3310PL fits that role as a compact work light that stays visible even when the power fails, thanks to a photoluminescent body that glows after exposure to ambient light. Its three AA cell format means spares are standard store items, so crews never wait for a proprietary pack to charge.
The push-button tail switch operates with gloved fingers and cycles through high, low and flashing modes, letting a fitter match output to the task without cycling through unwanted settings. A stainless steel pocket clip secures the light to a shirt, belt or harness, keeping both hands free when climbing ladders or routing cable. The polycarbonate housing resists chemicals and impact, while the IPX7 rating means it survives a drop into a sump or a wash-down hose. Because the LED module is sealed, there is no bulb to break and no filament to rattle loose on vibrating machinery.
