Description and applications
Inspection and maintenance crews working in classified zones need a work light that will not become an ignition source. The Pelican 3315CC is built for exactly that role, carrying UL and IECEx markings that qualify it for use where flammable gases, vapours or dusts may be present. Its yellow body stands out in low visibility, and the compact form fits gloved hands without bulk.
Day to day, the unit runs on three standard AA cells, so spares are always available at the crib or in the ute without waiting for a charger. The LED module throws a clean white beam that cuts through smoke, dust or fog, letting a fitter read pipe tags, trace cable runs or check flange faces at arm's length. A simple tail switch cycles modes even with heavy gloves on, and the light head resists knocks from scaffold tubes or tool belts. Because it is not tethered to a lead, the operator moves freely around vessels, trenches or switchrooms.
The package delivers a portable work light rated for hazardous locations, powered by three AA batteries, with UL and IECEx certification. That combination keeps the job moving safely in refineries, gas plants and chemical stores.
- UL and IECEx rated for hazardous locations
- LED output with clean white beam
- Runs on three AA cells for easy field replacement
