Maintenance fitters and equipment technicians reach for this bezel kit when the mounting flange on an IM2100 pelican case cracks or warps after heavy service. The bezel forms the rigid frame that the lid seals against, so a damaged one lets dust and water past the gasket and throws the latches out of line. Swapping the bezel restores the original seal geometry without replacing the whole case body.
The kit supplies the base bezel and the fasteners needed for a bench install. You drill out the old rivets, clean the flange surface, then bolt the new bezel in place using the supplied hardware. The aluminium construction matches the factory profile, so the lid closes with the same clamp force and the automatic pressure valve continues to operate. Technicians can complete the job in under an hour with basic hand tools, keeping the protective case in rotation instead of writing it off.
