Installation takes minutes: peel the lid layer, press the base layer into the bottom tray, then pluck the cavities for each item. The convoluted lid foam grips the top of the load while the base foam absorbs the heavy hits. Because the foam is open-cell polyurethane, it resists moisture and does not hold dust, so sensitive electronics stay clean during long hauls to remote projects. Technicians appreciate that the layout can be reconfigured when the toolkit changes, avoiding the cost of a new insert.
