On remote mine sites, offshore vessels and long-haul transport depots, a single failed latch can leave critical equipment exposed to dust, water and impact. The Pelican latch pin is a direct replacement component designed to restore the original sealing performance of a Pelican case without sending the whole unit off-site for repair. Maintenance teams carry these pins in field kits so that a damaged catch can be swapped in minutes using basic hand tools.
Each pin is machined from stainless steel to match the factory tolerance of the hinge and latch assembly. The smooth finish prevents galling during repeated opening cycles, while the corrosion-resistant material holds up to salt spray, chemical wash-down and extreme temperature swings.
