Each kit supplies the stainless steel pins and retaining clips needed to rebuild both lid hinges in a single session. The pins press out with a drift and hammer, so a fitter can complete the job on a tailgate or bench without specialised tooling. Because the geometry matches the original moulded lugs, the lid seats squarely and the O-ring seal compresses evenly across the full perimeter.
