Description and applications
Running out of cold water and fresh food halfway through a hitch is a daily headache on remote projects. This 150-quart esky solves that by holding enough provisions for a full crew over several days without a resupply run. The generous capacity means you can pack bulk meat, vegetables and drink crates in one load, keeping the mess tent stocked and the team hydrated through hot shifts.
The rotomoulded shell takes the knocks of ute trays, barge decks and forklift tines without cracking, while the freezer-grade gasket locks cold air in and dust out. Press-and-pull latches stay shut under vibration but open with gloved hands, and the moulded tie-down slots let you strap the cooler box securely to a tray or deck. Non-skid feet stop it sliding on a rolling vessel or vibrating truck bed, and the recessed handles give two people a solid grip for lifting a heavy load. A threaded drain plug makes emptying meltwater quick at the end of the week, so turnaround between jobs stays tight.
With up to ten days ice retention, thick polyurethane insulation and stainless hardware throughout, this hard cooler is built for the long haul on mine sites, offshore rigs and extended marine voyages where re-icing isn't an option.
