Description and applications
In a fabrication workshop or maintenance bay where tungsten inert gas work demands fine torch control, the Pyromate Tigga glove fits the task. It is built for welders who need fingertip sensitivity without sacrificing the heat resistance that ppe supplies must deliver in high-temperature zones. The design suits daily use on stainless, aluminium and thin-gauge steel where a heavy gauntlet would slow the operator down.
The glove uses a soft leather palm that moulds to the hand, letting you feel the puddle and adjust amperage on the fly. A reinforced thumb saddle resists wear from repeated torch grip, while the unlined fingers prevent the bunching that causes fatigue during long runs. The cuff sits clean under a welding jacket sleeve so spatter cannot track inside. Pair it with safety glasses and a suitable respirator for a complete hot-work kit that keeps the operator comfortable from tack weld to final pass.
Available in standard welding sizes with a split-leather back and keystone thumb. Suited to TIG, micro-plasma and light MIG applications across manufacturing, pipework and automotive sectors.
