Description and applications
This is a retractable fall arrest lanyard designed for safe use in elevated work environments. It features a built-in retraction mechanism that keeps the webbing taut and minimises trip hazards. The unit includes a swivel hook at the lower end to allow free movement and reduce twisting during use. A karabiner at the upper end provides a secure connection to an anchor point. The outer casing is made from durable flexible PVC to resist impact and wear. The internal webbing is constructed from polyester and extends to 2.5 metres when deployed. It meets EN360 standards and complies with AS/NZS 1891.3 for fall arrest performance. The device locks automatically if a sudden force is detected, such as during a fall. It is intended for overhead anchor use only to ensure proper function and safety. Each unit is sold individually and weighs 1.11 kilograms.
