Description and applications
This device is a self retracting lifeline designed for use in high-risk work settings where fall hazards are present. It features a robust aluminium housing that resists impact and wear during regular use. The unit includes a swivelling triple-action karabiner hook with a load indicator to help monitor connection integrity. An anchorage eye with swivel function reduces rope twist during movement or after a fall event.
It operates in two distinct modes: block mode functions as a standard fall arrestor to stop a fall quickly, while winch mode allows for controlled raising or lowering of a worker during rescue or retrieval scenarios. A locking pin enables the user to switch between these modes as needed. The system is built to support reliable performance in demanding conditions without requiring frequent intervention.
The lifeline is intended for individual use and comes ready for deployment after inspection. It meets the requirements of EN 360:2023 for personal fall protection equipment and EN 1496:2017 for rescue lifting devices. Servicing is not required for the first five years under normal use, after which periodic checks are advised. No additional sizing or colour options are specified beyond the standard black finish.
- Impact resistant aluminium casing
- Swivelling anchorage eye prevents rope twist
- Dual mode operation via locking pin
- Compliant with EN 360 and EN 1496 standards
