Description and applications
These are single edge blades for hand scrapers. Each blade is carbon steel with an aluminium back along the spine, which gives the thin edge a rigid support and a safe edge to hold. The blades measure 38 mm by 19 mm and are 0.22 mm thick, and they are made in the USA.
They fit the standard single-edge scraper handles, including the plastic scraper sold alongside them, and are packed five blades to a pack so a worn edge can be swapped straight away.
Typical uses are taking old paint, labels, window film, sealant and adhesive residue off glass, tiles and other flat surfaces before cleaning or refinishing. Used blades go into a blade disposal container rather than a general bin.
