Description and applications
Stratex 240L PVC spill kit protection cover is a heavy duty waterproof sleeve designed to fit over wheeled bin spill kits. The cover wraps around the container and secures with a simple Velcro strap that allows rapid removal when an emergency occurs. It acts as a barrier against rain, UV exposure and dust while stopping unauthorised access to the absorbent contents. The durable PVC construction resists tearing and stands up to harsh site conditions without degrading.
The cover handles protection from common issues that compromise spill readiness. It prevents theft of pads, booms and personal protective equipment stored inside the kit. It stops extreme weather from damaging absorbents or turning the bin into a waterlogged mess. It also discourages workers from using the spill kit bin as a general rubbish receptacle which would leave the kit empty when a hazardous liquid spill happens.
Use the cover in warehouses, transport yards, manufacturing plants and outdoor storage areas where wheeled spill kits are stationed. Slip the cover over the bin after the kit is stocked and fasten the Velcro strap. When a spill occurs, rip the strap open, lift the cover away and deploy the contents immediately. The design ensures the kit stays complete, dry and ready for oil, chemical or water based liquid emergencies.
