Stratex 240L Wheeled Bin Economy Spill Kit Refill General Purpose

This refill package replenishes a Stratex 240L Economy Spill Kit bin after an incident so the station remains ready for the next event. Inside the carton are six absorbent socks measuring 1.2 metres each, forty absorbent pads, two bags of granular absorbent, a pair of red PVC gloves, six contaminated waste disposal bags, six cable ties, a plastic security tag and a sheet of spill response instructions. Every component is selected to work together for fast containment and recovery.

The absorbents handle a broad range of common industrial fluids including water-based liquids, oils, fuels, coolants, paints, solvents, degreasers and most non-hazardous chemicals. Socks are deployed first to encircle the spill and protect nearby drains, pads soak up the bulk of the liquid, and granular material finishes the job on sealed concrete or unsealed ground. Gloves and disposal bags support safe handling of saturated media.

To use the kit, pull the socks into a barrier around the advancing liquid, cover the pool with pads, then sweep granular absorbent over any remaining residue. Bag all used material, secure the bags with the cable ties, attach the security tag and record the event. The bin is then restored to full readiness for workshops, warehouses, transport depots and maintenance yards where everyday spills occur.
