Description and applications
This Stratex spill response kit sits inside a wheeled bin and provides a complete set of tools for managing large hydrocarbon incidents. It includes absorbent socks in two lengths, absorbent pads, absorbent cushions, granular absorbent, a brush and shovel set, red PVC gloves, waste disposal bags, cable ties, a security tag and response instructions.
The kit targets petrol, diesel, oils, hydraulic fluids, lubricants and other hydrocarbons. The absorbents repel water while taking in oil-based liquids, making them suitable for wet or damp areas. Socks contain the flow and protect nearby drains, while pads and cushions soak up the liquid. Granular material works on sealed and unsealed surfaces, and the brush and shovel help gather it for disposal.
