Description and applications
This refill pack restores a Stratex 240L wheeled bin spill kit after it has been used. It brings together absorbent socks, pads, cushions and granules, along with a brush and shovel set, waste bags, cable ties, gloves, a security tag and response instructions. The kit keeps a workplace ready to deal with hydrocarbon leaks without needing to replace the whole bin.
The contents target petrol, diesel, oil, hydraulic fluid, lubricants and other hydrocarbons. The absorbents push water away and soak up oils instead, which makes them suitable for wet or damp areas. Granules work on sealed floors and unsealed ground, while socks stop liquid reaching nearby drains.
Use the socks to contain the spill, then lay pads and cushions to soak up the liquid. Spread granules over the remaining residue, sweep it up with the brush and shovel, and place everything in the waste bags. Wear the gloves during clean-up and follow the printed instructions for safe disposal.
