Stratex 60L Wheeled Bin Spill Kit – General Purpose

Stratex supplies a mobile response unit built around a sturdy 60 litre wheeled bin that can be stationed wherever spills are likely and rolled quickly to the scene. Inside the bin you will find a three metre absorbent sock, two shorter socks, twenty-five absorbent pads, two absorbent cushions, two bags of granular absorbent, a pair of red PVC gloves, safety goggles, three contaminated waste bags, three cable ties and a spill response instruction sheet. This combination gives operators everything needed to contain, recover and dispose of liquid releases in one package.

The absorbents are formulated for general purpose use, so they soak up water-based fluids, oils, fuels, coolants, paints, solvents, degreasers and most non-hazardous chemicals. Socks act as barriers to stop the spread and shield nearby drains, while pads and cushions pull up pooled liquid fast. The granular material works on sealed floors such as concrete and asphalt as well as on loose ground like gravel or dirt, giving flexibility across different surface types.

Typical locations include workshops, warehouses, factories and transport depots where spill points may be scattered across the site. Workers simply wheel the bin to the spill, deploy the socks to encircle the liquid, lay pads and cushions to absorb the bulk, then sweep granular absorbent over any residue. Used materials go into the supplied waste bags, which are sealed with the cable ties for compliant disposal.
