Description and applications
Stratex chemical standard absorbent pads come in a dispenser box containing two hundred perforated sheets. Each sheet features a centre perforation that allows it to be split into two smaller pieces for precise coverage. The pads are bonded for maximum strength and designed for rapid liquid uptake, reducing the time needed to contain a spill. This construction makes them durable enough for demanding environments while remaining easy to handle.
These absorbents are suitable for a wide range of aggressive fluids including acids, bases, solvents and unknown chemical mixtures. They quickly soak up hazardous liquids to prevent spreading and reduce slip risks. The fast wicking action helps minimise exposure for personnel and limits damage to equipment and flooring. Because they are chemically inert, they do not react with the substances they absorb.
Workers can deploy the pads in factories, laboratories, warehouses and transport depots where chemical spills may occur. The perforated design allows placement in tight spaces such as under machinery, inside bunds or along narrow walkways. Pads can be used individually or combined to cover larger areas, and the dispenser box keeps them clean and accessible until needed. After use, the saturated pads can be collected and disposed of according to local hazardous waste regulations.
- Perforated centre for easy size adjustment
- Bonded construction gives high tear resistance
- Rapid absorption of acids, bases and solvents
- Dispenser box keeps pads clean and ready
