Stratex Dewatering Bag – Silt Filter

Stratex provides these sediment filter bags crafted from durable non-woven geotextile. This robust fabric ensures that liquids pass through the walls while trapping solid debris inside. Some specialised versions incorporate an internal oil-absorbent medium to manage combined hydrocarbon and mineral contamination. These units are designed for efficiency and simplicity in water treatment.

These tools are engineered to handle water containing silt and dense debris from digging activities. By capturing these solids, the bags prevent environmental contamination. They manage the flow of sediment-laden liquids, typically operating at a rate of 80L/m2/sec, although this may fluctuate depending on the specific conditions of the site and the nature of the debris being filtered.

Used primarily on mining or building sites, these bags fit onto wooden pallets for stable placement. This design allows a forklift to move the unit easily once it is saturated with waste. Each bag comes with a standard 100mm hose inlet for easy pumping.
