ATS Type 5/6 SMS Coveralls - Asbestos and Powder Handling

Protecting operators during asbestos removal and powder handling requires a reliable barrier that prevents hazardous particulates from contaminating skin and clothing. These white SMS coveralls provide a dedicated layer of defence for workers in high-risk maintenance environments or specialised remediation sites where fine dust and airborne fibres are present.

Managing heat stress is a constant challenge when wearing full-body protection, which is why the air and water vapour permeable fabric is essential. This breathability allows moisture to escape while maintaining a secure seal against external contaminants, making the gear more tolerable during long shifts in demanding conditions. The tailored fit is a practical detail that improves overall mobility and dexterity, ensuring the wearer can manoeuvre around equipment or reach tight spaces without the fabric restricting their movement or snagging on site gear. When integrated with other ppe supplies, these suits provide a comprehensive shield for the body.

These Type 5/6 garments are proven to filter 100% of particles larger than 3 microns. The product is supplied in a 50 unit pack in size XXXX Large and is rated to EN ISO 13688.
