Underground Miner's Harness with Stainless Steel Hardware

The harness is designed for use in underground mining environments where fall protection is essential. It integrates a prospector belt with dedicated tool loops for carrying equipment securely. The system includes stainless steel components for corrosion resistance in harsh conditions. Adjustable leg straps allow for a customized fit across different body types. Aluminium quick connect buckles are fitted at the waist and legs for fast and reliable donning and doffing. A floating frontal d-ring provides additional fall arrest attachment points when needed.

Fall protection is provided through a dorsal d-ring and an extended d-ring located at the rear for secure connection to lanyards or lifelines. The harness includes a frontal floating d-ring that shifts position to reduce injury risk during a fall event. Confined space loops are built into the design to assist with rescue or retrieval scenarios. The back pad is widened to improve lumbar support and stability during prolonged wear. All components are selected to maintain integrity in dirty, wet, or oily conditions commonly found underground.

An integrated label pack contains donning and connection instructions, certification details, and an inspection grid for safety compliance checks. The label pack also features an oversized pull-free ring to temporarily stow a lanyard when not in use. Webbing is made from polyester and treated with a protective coating that resists absorption of water, oil, and dirt. This treatment helps maintain webbing strength and visibility over time. The harness is supplied as a single unit in medium size and weighs 2.3 kilograms.
