Vented Safety Helmet with Ratchet Harness

This protective headwear features a vented design to improve airflow during extended use. It includes a ratchet harness system that allows for quick and secure fitting with one hand. The helmet is constructed from durable ABS material known for its resistance to impact and ultraviolet degradation. A plastic bracket is integrated to securely hold a miner’s lamp or similar accessory.

The helmet meets the requirements of AS/NZS 1801:1997 for industrial head protection. It is designed to accept insert attachments ranging from 25 to 30mm in diameter, allowing for compatibility with various safety accessories. The six-point terylene harness distributes weight evenly and enhances comfort during prolonged wear. A replaceable sweatband is included to improve user comfort and hygiene.

The helmet is intended for use in environments where head protection from falling objects, bumps, or UV exposure is necessary. Common applications include mining, construction, quarrying, and other industrial settings. The harness component should be replaced every two years from first use, while the helmet shell has a three-year expiry from initial use. Additional PPE such as earmuffs, face shields, chinstraps, and logo printing options are available to complement the helmet.
