Description and applications
In busy retail stores, warehouses, and active construction sites, space is often at a premium. The Indalex Tradesman Slimline Platform Ladder provides a stable working base for overhead tasks without occupying excessive floor area. This industrial ladder is built for environments where equipment needs to be deployed quickly and stored in tight gaps between shelving or in vehicle bays.
Using high tensile aluminium allows this unit to remain lightweight for one-handed carrying while maintaining the rigidity needed for industrial use. The slimline profile reduces the footprint on the shop floor, allowing workers to manoeuvre the ladder around stock or machinery with ease. By providing a secure platform rather than a narrow step, it reduces the risk of slips and provides a more comfortable stance for tradespeople performing repetitive installations or inventory checks.
This model features a platform height of 1.2 metres and a handrail height of 2.1 metres. It is constructed from aluminium with a clear lacquer finish, weighing 8.0 kg with a load rating of 120.0 kg. The base measures 62.0 cm wide at the front and 65.0 cm at the rear, with a footprint length of 104.0 cm.
