Unlike standard ladders, this platform provides a wide, stable deck that allows a technician to move and work with both hands free. The hinged boom arm access gate is a key functional detail, opening for entry and closing automatically to ensure continuous edge protection while the user is aloft. This reduces the risk of accidental falls during loading or maintenance tasks. The anti-slip checker plate surface ensures secure footing even in busy industrial settings, while the 100mm treads make climbing and descending the four steps more stable for the operator.

Constructed from a lightweight aluminium alloy, this unit features a platform height of 1200mm. When collapsed, it has a folded length of 2434mm and a fold thickness of 320mm.
