Description and applications
This lanyard is designed to allow the user to adjust its length to suit different working conditions. It is made from durable kernmantle rope that resists abrasion and wear. The adjustment range extends from 850mm up to a maximum of 2 metres. An integral compact energy absorber is built into the design to reduce impact forces during a fall.
The primary function of this lanyard is to minimise the risk of injury from falls when working at elevation. It connects securely to a harness and anchor point to arrest a fall safely. The energy absorber activates smoothly to dissipate kinetic energy, reducing the force transmitted to the user. This makes it suitable for tasks where fall clearance is limited.
It is commonly used in construction, maintenance, and industrial settings where workers operate at height. The lanyard is sold individually and includes a label with connection instructions and certification details. It meets the requirements of AS/NZS 1891.1 - 2007 for fall arrest equipment. Termination is via TAKs for reliable attachment to compatible hardware.
