Description and applications
Electricians and maintenance technicians require reliable height access that prioritises safety around live circuits. This Indalex Tradesman Series dual purpose ladder provides a versatile solution for these professionals, functioning as a stable step ladder or extending into a straight ladder for higher reaches. It is built for the rigours of industrial workshops and construction sites where electrical hazards are a constant factor.
The non-conductive fibreglass construction reduces the risk of electrical shock, making it a safer choice than aluminium for wiring and lighting or servicing switchboards. On a daily basis, the user benefits from a design that balances stability with mobility. The semi-tubular riveted front steps and a three-piece rung joint system in the rear section provide anti-twist properties, ensuring the frame remains rigid under load. Anodised aluminium components are integrated to resist corrosion and prevent dirt from transferring onto finished surfaces during a fit-out.
This unit features a 150.0kg rating and a maximum extended height of 3.8m, while weighing 12.0kg for easier transport across a site. The footprint measures 127.0cm in length with a front foot width of 58.0cm. These specifications ensure the stability required for the demanding tasks performed by electrical tradespeople.
