Description and applications
The Bondi Zip Safety Boot is a lace-free work shoe designed for all-day wear in demanding conditions. It features a side zip entry for quick and easy on and off use. The upper is crafted from water-resistant nu-buck leather that stands up to regular wear. Inside, a soft lining made from a blend of bamboo, cotton and polyester helps manage moisture and reduce odour.
Protection comes from a lightweight composite toe cap made of fibreglass that shields against impacts up to 200 joules. This non-metallic toe does not conduct electricity and offers insulation from extreme heat and cold. The footbed uses soft polyurethane with anti-static properties for added comfort and safety. Together, these elements meet recognised safety standards for toe impact resistance.
The outsole combines polyurethane and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) to deliver strong grip and resistance to slipping on wet or oily surfaces. It is engineered to withstand exposure to oils, organic fats and acids while remaining flexible and abrasion-resistant. The SRC-rated slip resistance ensures reliable traction across various floor types. Heat resistance up to 130°C adds further durability in hot work areas.
