Boom General Purpose Grey 2.4m

The product is a flexible absorbent boom made for universal liquid spill management. It is colour-coded grey to indicate its suitability for general-purpose use. Constructed to handle a wide range of fluids, it excludes only aggressive acids and alkalis from its effective range. Each unit measures 2.4 metres in length and 7.6 centimetres in width, with a lightweight build of 700 grams.

It protects against spills of common industrial and non-industrial liquids such as oils, coolants, solvents, and water-based fluids. The boom prevents liquid spread by absorbing and containing the fluid upon contact. It is not suitable for use with strong acids or alkalis, which may degrade the material or cause unsafe reactions. Its sorbency capacity ranges from 2.6 to 3.0 litres per metre of length.

Ideal for use in workshops, warehouses, garages, and outdoor work areas where incidental leaks or drips occur. It is also appropriate for non-industrial environments like schools, offices, or public facilities needing spill readiness.
