Brady Miniature Circuit Breaker Lockout

This lockout device provides a secure method for isolating miniature circuit breakers mounted on DIN rails. It fits directly onto the breaker toggle without the need for any tools, using a simple push-button action to clamp the unit in place. The design prevents accidental or unauthorised re-energisation of the circuit while maintenance or testing is underway. During a lockout tagout procedure, an authorised person attaches the device to the breaker toggle, engages the push button to lock it firmly, and then applies a personal padlock through the locking hole. A tag is added to identify the responsible worker and the reason for the isolation. The breaker remains mechanically held in the off position until the padlock is removed by the same person. This sequence ensures that the circuit cannot be restored until all work is complete and every worker is clear.
