The unit is a compact, lightweight fan assembly designed to deliver consistent airflow to connected respiratory protection gear such as hoods, masks or suits. It operates using a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and includes a flow control mechanism that maintains steady air delivery even as filters become clogged or battery levels drop. A full-colour display provides real-time feedback on filter status, battery charge and airflow rate, while audiovisual alerts notify the user when maintenance or replacement is needed. The system is built to withstand harsh conditions, featuring high resistance to mechanical stress and chemical exposure, and has been tested to survive drops from 1.5 metres without damage.

It protects the wearer from inhaling hazardous substances including toxic vapours, fine particulates, aerosols and biological contaminants commonly found in chemical processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory work and environmental remediation. The airflow can be adjusted between 120 and 235 litres per minute to suit varying task demands and filter types, ensuring adequate protection throughout a full shift. The unit’s ingress protection rating allows for safe decontamination via shower or full immersion, supporting reuse in high-risk scenarios where hygiene is critical.
