Class 4 Dangerous Goods Storage Cabinet 60L

This is a secure indoor storage unit designed for Class 4 hazardous materials in liquid or solid form. It meets the requirements of AS/NZS5026 for the safe handling and storage of such substances. The cabinet is built to contain risks associated with flammable solids, spontaneous combustion, and materials that are dangerous when wet. It features a robust double-walled steel construction for durability and safety.

The unit protects against ignition, heat transfer, and pressure buildup during storage. A self-closing door with adjustable hydraulic closure ensures the door shuts securely after use. Overlapping door edges and a continual piano hinge prevent heat and flame from entering the cabinet. Internal vents with flash arresters allow safe pressure release while blocking flame propagation.

It is suitable for use in workshops, laboratories, and industrial facilities where Class 4 chemicals are handled. The liquid-tight sump contains spills, and the adjustable shelves allow flexible organisation. Rubber feet provide stability, and the external earth connection prevents static discharge. Optional extra shelves can be added to increase storage capacity as needed.
