This indoor storage unit is designed for the secure containment of various hazardous materials classified as Class 9 under Australian safety standards. It features a double-walled galvanised steel construction with a solvent-resistant yellow powder coat finish for durability and corrosion resistance. The cabinet includes two adjustable perforated shelves mounted on a continual piano-type hinge door system for smooth operation.
It provides protection against fire, heat transfer, and accidental spillage through overlapping door edges, a liquid-tight sump base, and vent bungs equipped with steel flash arresters. The self-closing door mechanism ensures automatic shut-off after use, while the three-point latching system maintains a secure seal during storage. An external earth connection and included wiring help prevent static discharge risks.
Ideal for workshops, laboratories, and industrial facilities, this cabinet supports safe handling of items such as lithium batteries, airbag inflators, chemical kits, and polymeric compounds. It comes with recessed handle access, a keyed lock with two keys, and four rubber feet for stability. Optional extra shelves are available to customise internal storage configuration.
