These trousers are made from a lightweight PVC-coated polyester shell fabric that offers reliable protection in wet weather. The material is plain weave with a 190T count and weighs 210g, providing durability without bulk. They are constructed with taped seams to prevent water from entering through stitching. The fabric includes a PFAS-free Texpel Splash Eco finish that causes water to bead and roll off the surface.
They protect the wearer from rain, wind, and moisture, keeping clothing underneath dry during prolonged exposure to wet conditions. The waterproof rating meets EN 343 Class 3:1 standards with resistance to 5,000mm water pressure. The fabric also provides UV protection, blocking over 98% of harmful rays with a 40+ UPF rating. This makes them suitable for use in both rainy and sunny outdoor environments.
