Description and applications
These work pants are made from 100% preshrunk cotton drill fabric weighing 310gsm, offering durability and comfort for daily use. The fabric is treated to resist static buildup and provides excellent sun protection with a UPF rating of 50+. The design includes single front pleats for ease of movement and a tailored fit across the size ranges. Construction features include seven belt loops for secure tool carrying and a coin pocket integrated into the waistband.
The garment enhances wearer safety through its Biomotion configuration, which uses retroreflective tape placed around the upper and lower legs to create a recognisable human shape in low light. This configuration improves detection by drivers, especially in high-risk zones with moving traffic. Additional reflective elements include tape around the leg openings and a dedicated mobile phone pocket on the right-hand side leg. The pants meet Class N Level 3 ensemble requirements when worn as part of a compliant high-visibility outfit.
Two angled front pockets and two back patch pockets provide practical storage for tools and personal items. The design adheres to AS 4602.1:2024 for high-risk applications and AS/NZS 1906.4:2023 for reflective material performance. It also complies with AS 4399:2020 for sun protection and AS/NZS 1020:1995 for static control. Importantly, these trousers must not be worn alone to maintain compliance with high-visibility ensemble standards.
