Description and applications
A compact Crescent Lufkin speed square in aluminium, 180 mm along the edge and marked in metric. It handles the everyday layout jobs on a framing or roofing site: square cuts across timber, 45 degree lines, quick angle checks and guiding a circular saw for a straight crosscut.
The body is solid aluminium with a matte black finish that cuts glare, and the contrasting markings are easy to read outdoors. The edges are CNC machined, so lines come out straight and the square sits true against the stock. Notches placed between 2 cm and 12 cm in from the edge let you run a pencil along a board to mark a parallel line.
It is light enough to live in a tool belt or pouch all day and tough enough for site use.
