Description and applications
This Crescent Lufkin combination square pairs a 150 mm stainless steel blade with an accurately machined aluminium head. It sets true right angle and mitre lines for marking, checking and setting out, and the aluminium keeps the tool light and resistant to corrosion in a damp ute or workshop.
The blade has the Nite Eye finish: a dark, scratch resistant surface with etched metric graduations on both sides that stay legible in poor light and do not flare under strong sun or shop lights. A knurled nut locks the blade firmly so a setting repeats accurately from one mark to the next.
A metal scribe is stored in the head for fine layout lines on timber, sheet metal and plastics. Use it for cabinetry, framing, metalwork and general fabrication where square, accurate marks matter.
