Description and applications
This lanyard is constructed from a 12mm kernmantle rope with a double leg design for enhanced stability and load distribution. It features an integrated shock absorber pack that reduces impact forces during a fall. The hardware includes a screw gate karabiner and two triple action scaffold hooks for secure attachment points. All components are drop forged for strength and reliability in demanding environments.
The energy absorbing system is engineered to limit arrest forces to safe levels for users weighing up to 150kg, including their tools and equipment. It activates during a fall to gradually decelerate the worker, minimising injury risk. The absorber is designed to meet relevant safety standards for personal fall protection equipment. Its extended length allows for greater mobility while maintaining protection.
Intended for use in scaffolding, steel erection, roofing, and other elevated work scenarios where fall hazards exist. The D transition point on the lanyard serves as both a load-bearing junction and a convenient stowage point for the unused leg. Stitching is performed using computer-controlled bar tacking with UV-stabilised thread for durability. The rope and hardware resist abrasion and environmental exposure common in outdoor work sites.
