Description and applications
This lanyard features two elasticated legs connected to a central energy absorber, designed to reduce fall arrest forces. It is constructed with high tenacity polyester webbing that resists UV degradation and maintains strength over time. The stitching uses a computer-controlled bar tack process with a unique THETA pattern for consistent durability. All components are manufactured to meet Australian safety standards for personal fall protection equipment.
The system absorbs energy during a fall to minimise impact on the user, protecting against serious injury from sudden deceleration. It is rated for use by individuals carrying tools and equipment, ensuring the full load is managed safely during arrest. The extended length allows greater mobility while maintaining fall protection coverage. Energy dissipation is engineered to activate smoothly within the specified load range.
It is commonly used in construction, maintenance, and industrial environments where workers operate at height. The double leg design allows 100% tie-off when moving between anchor points. Snap and scaffold hooks provide secure attachment to various structural points. The equipment is suitable for applications requiring compliance with AS/NZS 1891.5:2020.
