Description and applications
The 5L sharps safe is for places where used needles need to be disposed of in the open but kept out of reach of the public, such as public toilets, clinics, gyms, workplaces and community buildings. Its bright yellow finish and biohazard symbols make it easy to see and recognise.
The body is durable zinc with a yellow powder coating. A tamper resistant circular lock and key controls access, and a generic key is supplied to help with opening. Inside it takes a pair of 5L plastic sharps containers, and both are supplied. The design is safe to empty and simple to refill and maintain.
The safe mounts on a wall. Fixings are not included, because wall materials vary and the right ones depend on your surface. The unit measures about 140 wide, 270 high and 145 deep in millimetres, which keeps it compact enough for small rooms and cubicles.
