Description and applications
A medium to large wound dressing earns its place in any kit where bleeding could be serious. The No.14 suits workplaces, workshops, building sites, schools, clubs and vehicles, and works as a top-up for a first aid kit that has used its dressings.
The dressing has a lightweight absorbent pad measuring 10 x 15cm, with a cotton gauze bandage around it for support. The pad does not stick to the wound, absorbs excess exudate and helps protect the area while it heals. It is made for controlling heavy bleeding and is quick to apply to major wounds, and the non-adherent surface helps limit trauma when it is taken off.
Each pack holds one No.14 dressing in a sterile, easy-open package. It comes in Fast Aid's colour coded retail box with a perforated front, and it can also be used as a refill for Fast Aid Easy-Refill first aid kits.
