Description and applications
The Fast Aid multi trauma dressing is a sterile, generously sized dressing for large wounds and wounds that are bleeding heavily. It is a useful addition to workplace kits, vehicle kits, sporting first aid bags and any setting where a serious injury could happen.
It measures 20 x 91cm and is made from a soft, comfortable non-woven fabric. The large size covers a wide area, and the dressing copes with up to a moderate level of exudate. It helps stop fluid pooling and helps reduce the chance of the wound becoming infected.
The dressing can be placed directly on the wound as the first layer or used over another dressing as the second layer, giving protection and padding either way. Each pack contains one universal trauma dressing.
