Description and applications
The R2 Telco National Vehicle kit is put together for telecommunications contractors working on site or in remote areas, whether the risk is low or high. It is described as compliant for workplaces of 1 to 25 people and is listed with the TGA under registration 128314.
Contents are chosen for injuries common in the telco contracting trade. There are dressings, bandages, plasters, wound wipes, eye wash, burn gel, a burns sheet, gloves, a resuscitation face shield, shears and splinter tools, plus an LED torch and a whistle on a lanyard. Burns, eye and outdoor modules are included, with a colour guide to snake and spider bites, and all items are colour coded.
The red fabric soft pack has a water-resistant backing and fold out inner compartments, so it travels well in a vehicle. Light reflects off a strip on the outside when it is dim, and a wall mount bracket is included for hanging the kit in plain view.
